Milan, Italy | October 8, 2026, Elixir Pharma held a strategic meeting with the Egyptian
Authority for Unified Procurement (UPA), Hetero Group, and Amarox KSA on the sidelines of
CPHI Milan 2026 to discuss opportunities to advance pharmaceutical localization and
expand access to critical medicines in Egypt.
Elixir Pharma Founder and CEO Dr. Hany Aly met with Dr. Hisham Stait, Chairman of the
UPA; Dr. B. Partha Saradhi Reddy, Chairman of Hetero Group; Mr. Murali Krishna Reddy
Bheemireddy, Director of Emerging Markets at Hetero; and Dr. Abdullah Alzomaie, Founder
and CEO of Amarox KSA.

Elixir Pharma is strengthening its pharmaceutical manufacturing capabilities through its
22,000 m² GMP-compliant facility in Sadat City, supported by dedicated research and
development laboratories, production lines, and integrated quality systems. Through its
partnership with Hetero Group, Elixir aims to further develop its local capabilities and
contribute to a more sustainable domestic supply of essential medicines.
The meeting at CPHI Milan reflects the importance of continued dialogue and strategic
collaboration in exploring opportunities that support Egypt’s pharmaceutical industry and
healthcare priorities.
